During my last trip (and during the long wait in the Roma Fiumicino airport masked by a persuasive woman voice that announced hours of delay concluding the sentence with "good-bye and thank you for having chosen the XYY Company") I have had the opportunity to read, among the others, three books tre libri of Amelie Nothomb, this enfant terrible that is affirming with the weapon of the pure imagination in the contemporary literary panorama.

Yes, it is not Schopenhauer or Umberto Eco but I have been pleasantly amazed by this free-fly writing (sometimes really hallucinatory) that thanks to very brief sentences (Stephen King docet), clear images and intelligent conclusions creates a true atmosphere of impressionistic introspection very flowing.

So flowing that the words slip away.
